About

Our story:

It all started with a simple question: why is it so hard to find a healthy, shelf-stable meal? Our founder loved the convenience of oatmeal but wished it could better align with her nutritional goals. She yearned for a high-protein, no-sugar-added meal that she could enjoy anytime, anywhere.  Driven by her passion for health and wellness, she took matters into her own hands and 5oat5 was born.

5oat5 is produced in Albuquerque, NM in a commercial kitchen that is FDA and USDA approved.

We are a 100% women owned business.

Lauren Witwicki: Founder

Meet Lauren, a foodie from the moment she could hold a spoon. With over a decade of experience working in grocery stores, she's an expert at understanding how to combine nutrition with bold flavors. Inspired by her love for good food, she’s driven by the belief that there had to be a better way to do oats than those brown packets. But Lauren's not just about food; she's a big-hearted animal lover who opens her home to foster dogs in need. With a degree in Linguistics from UW Madison, she's skilled in the languages of food and compassion. Join Lauren on this tasty journey of flavors, one oatmeal bowl at a time.
